Danville Planning Commission

Attendees:      Jeff Frampton, Derek Fenby, Nancy Lewis, Kim Prior, Mike Boudreau, Jim Ashley, Alison Meaders

 Start:              Meeting opened at 6:05 pm

New Business: 

Jason Van Driesche from Smart Growth attended – facilitated review of suggested bylaw recommendations for Village Core and Village Historic districts.  Plan is to finalize drafts at April Planning Commission meeting.  Final product will complete Smart Growth  deliverables for this grant.

Alison will ask Tracy at NVDA to add water & sewer to Smart Growth’s map – to facilitate discussion at the working meeting on April 2^nd. 

Approved letter to Department of Housing and Community Affairs for 2009 Municipal Planning Grant use of Smart Growth as a “natural extension” of 2008 work.

 Planning Commission to recommend to Select Board to use $2,000 healthy town grant to support hockey/skating rink on Hill Street. 

Reminder of  March 31^st public information meeting and April 7^th vote on town water bond issue.

 Next working meeting on April 2 to complete review and notes to Smart Growth regarding Rt. 2 and Village Residential district bylaw recommendations.
